Comments/Condition: Very Tough Altes Sportsman Ale Flat Top Beer Can. The First Line of the Can is "Detroit Baseball World Champs 1935" These are tough set cans to find. This can does have a few humidity spots, but overall a really nice example. This can, along with others listed in the auction came from a Continental Can employee, These were never filled, they were pulled off the line, and either a bank top lid was installed or the can is air-sealed. I believe the guy put the top lid on himself at home using a hand crank canning machine. The bottom lids were all done on the canning line.
